about daylilies as a service to its members, but cannot be

Computer Color
The American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) makes every
effort to provide accurate and true color of daylily photographs
and graphics reproduced in this AHS WWW Home Page Site, The
Daylily Journal, and other AHS publications.
Because computer color monitors vary with each manufacturer
and because screen settings are controlled by the end user,
the AHS is not responsible for the daylily colors as depicted
on your computer monitor. Many computer monitors have high
color saturation levels and may give daylily flowers a harsh
look. If your color monitor is set for viewing 256 colors,
try setting it at a higher color level. For a more pleasing
look, adjust your brightness and contrast controls. Although
the original AHS photographs are sharp and in focus, some
definition is lost in the scanning process and by data compression.
